Cranberry Mulled Wine for Fall Entertaining

November 19, 2018 by Natalie 1 Comment

Cranberry Mulled Wine for Fall Entertaining

Warm drinks are so cozy and soothing to the soul this time of year. To be perfectly honest, my soul has been feeling a little down lately so it needs all the soothing it can get. I’ve teamed up with Santa Margherita Wines to share a super easy mulled wine recipe that is perfect for Fall and holiday entertaining. The only thing better than indulging in a warm cozy cup of spiced wine is sharing it with the people you love.

Cranberry Mulled Wine for Fall Entertaining

I used Santa Margherita Chianti Classico Reserva for this Cranberry Mulled Wine recipe. An authentic Italian Chianti made from grapes grown in the heart of Tuscany’s Chianti Classico region. The aromas of this complex red wine range from cherries and plums to gladiolus flowers and earthy flint which makes it a perfect pairing for the baking spices associated with mulled wine. In addition to using classic mulled wine ingredients, I also added cranberries to make it festive for Thanksgiving!

Cranberry Mulled Wine for Fall Entertaining

Cranberry Mulled Wine, makes 6 servings

1 bottle of Santa Margherita Chianti Classico Reserva
1/2 cup cranberries
1/4 cup honey
2 cinnamon sticks
1/2 tsp. fresh nutmeg
1 vanilla bean or 1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 small oranges
10 whole cloves
3 whole star anise

First slice one orange into wheels and juice the other orange. If you’re using a vanilla bean instead of extract, split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape the bean into the wine. Add your wine, spices, juice and fruit to a saucepan and turn the heat up to medium, until the wine is hot. Reduce heat to a very low simmer and keep warm until ready to serve. Before serving use a slotted spoon to remove all of the spices from the wine, and then ladle into mugs. Garnish with cranberries, a cinnamon stick, and a slice of orange.

Cranberry Mulled Wine for Fall Entertaining

Mulled wine has a distinct, spiced flavor brought out all the more by sipping it hot. If you prefer something boozier, you can add a few ounces of brandy, bourbon, rye or even rum! I love the tart and fruity finish that the cranberries added to this mulled wine recipe. Santa Margherita Chianti Reserva made the perfect base for the mulled wine because of it’s bright, round, warm, dry, earthy finish.

It’s been a little hard for me to get into the holiday spirit this year. Even just thinking about making this mulled wine has me more excited for Thanksgiving though! I hope you’ll try this Cranberry Mulled Wine recipe and please send some holiday cheer my way in the comments below. xo

Trick or Treat: The Monster Fizz

October 26, 2018 by Natalie 1 Comment

Trick or Treat: The Monster Fizz

I’m just here for the BOOS! That’s why I’ve teamed up with my friends at KINKY Beverages to bring you the perfect Halloween treat—the Monster Fizz.

I worked with KINKY Beverages over the Summer to develop this Tropical Mango Frosé that turned out so delicious! Ever since then I’ve really enjoyed using their liqueurs to compliment other spirits in cocktails. KINKY Green Liqueur is a fusion of super premium vodka distilled five times with flavors of crisp green apples and pears. Not only does KINKY Green give this drink its spooky green hue but it also adds delicious fall flavors to the Monster Fizz. I’ve added a monster candy skewer garnish to make this drink super fun for all your Halloween festivities!

Trick or Treat: The Monster Fizz

Monster Fizz, serves 1

1 oz. KINKY Green Liqueur

1 oz. gin

3/4 oz. lemon juice

3/4 oz. simple syrup

1 egg white

club soda

assorted monster candy for garnish

First, make your monster candy skewer. This part is so easy and super fun. I bought all my candy at Party City and Target but I’m sure you could find some fun monster candy at a specialty candy store too. I just arranged the candy in a way that made them look like little faces. The only tricky part to these is getting the smaller thin pieces of candy onto the skewer. My tip is to thread a small portion of the back of the candy onto the skewer instead of sticking it through the middle of the entire piece of candy. I did a few skewers before I realized this method was easier. The other great thing about these monster candy skewers is that you can make them as favors for a Halloween party or even use them as cake toppers too.

Trick or Treat: The Monster Fizz

Now let’s make a Monster Fizz! Add the KINKY Green, gin, lemon, simple syrup, and egg white to a cocktail shaker and dry shake to incorporate all ingredients. Next, add ice and shake again very vigorously. Strain into a highball glass and top with soda. Garnish with a monster candy skewer.

Trick or Treat: The Monster Fizz

Trick or Treat: The Monster Fizz

This Monster Fizz is just too adorable not to mention the perfect cocktail to serve at a Halloween party. It’s super fruity, fizzy, refreshing and tart which makes the sour candy the perfect accompaniment to the drink. If you’re not throwing a Halloween party that’s okay, there’s no better way to get yourself into the Halloween spirit than by whipping up a few spooky cocktails.

Trick or Treat: The Monster Fizz

Have a great weekend and Happy Halloween! I hope you’ll be making a few of these Monster Fizzes. Thanks to KINKY Beverages for supplying a delicious and perfectly hued spirit to make festive Halloween drinks with. Don’t forget to eat, drink, and be scary everyone! xo

A Cozy Day In + 52 Lists Giveaway

A Cozy Day In + 52 Lists for Togetherness Giveaway

Recently I spent a cozy day in with my best friend Sam. We met each other through mutual friends 15 years ago but only became super close over the last 5 or 6. We even went to the same college but weren’t really friends then either! TBH she went on a date with my ex-boyfriend so I kinda hated her.

LOL. Sam if you’re reading this—don’t worry I’m totally over it.

I’d like to think that we came back into each other’s lives at just the right time when we were ready to be friends or perhaps when we needed each other the most. I think it’s true that people come into your life for a reason, sometimes exactly when you need them to.

As we get older different things are becoming more important to us. Last year Sam got married and also found a new job with more responsibility. While I moved in with my long-term boyfriend and started my own business. We both even talk about moving out of state sometime in the future. Which means it is possible that one day we won’t be living in the same state anymore. It’s safe to say that we both have our own busy lives going on but we try to make time for each other as much as we can.

A Cozy Day In + 52 Lists for Togetherness Giveaway

Moorea Seal recently released another book in her 52 Lists Project series called 52 Lists for Togetherness. I thought this was the perfect opportunity to grab a copy for Sam and me to fill out together. The whole idea behind the book is to learn more about who you are, how you see your loved ones, and how you can thrive together by creating 52 lists, one for every week of the year. You can fill it out solo or you can use it as a tool to connect with loved ones by working on the lists together.

We spent a cozy day in filling out a few lists while sipping on Boozy Apple Cider a la Modes, a recipe that I made on A Beautiful Mess last Winter. This drink is so delicious and couldn’t be more perfect for fall. Mulling cider in the house is probably my favorite activity to do in the colder months. It’s so soothing and fills the air with warm baking spices.

Let us not forget about the bourbon.

Who could do such a thing?

A Cozy Day In + 52 Lists for Togetherness Giveaway

Sam even got to meet Beemer — the little black kitten I rescued from the hood of a BMW in September. She’s so adorable and I think we might be keeping her but probably changing her name. Thoughts on the name Dolly? Please leave kitty name suggestions in the comments below. Bowie had to make an appearance too. He’s so jealous, he needs ALL the attention. It was a lovely day filled with snuggles from the animals and lots of talk about the present and the future.

I’m pretty sure the animals just wanted to steal sips of our Boozy Apple Cider a la Modes though.

A Cozy Day In + 52 Lists for Togetherness Giveaway

I’m looking forward to filling out each list in 52 Lists for Togetherness and I’m so excited to be teaming up with Moorea Seal to gift one reader two books so they can also work on their lists with a loved one. I can’t recommend the journals in the 52 Lists Project enough. If you’re looking to deepen connections with yourself and the people around you this is the perfect way to do it. You can enter to win by heading over to my Instagram and following the rules. You can also pick up a copy here too. Good luck everyone!

What do you do to keep the relationships flourishing in your life? Would love to hear your tips below. xo

Boozy Mexican Mocha

September 29, 2018 by Natalie 4 Comments

Boozy Mexican MochaHas anyone ever made Mexican hot chocolate in the Winter? This Boozy Mexican Mocha recipe is similar to hot chocolate but with the addition of coffee — which automatically makes it my favorite. I pretty much look for any excuse to sneak another cup of joe into my day. Totally 100% have a coffee addiction and that’s why we’re celebrating National Coffee Day on the blog today!

Mexican Mocha is a rich chocolatey drink with a kick of warm baking spices and a little bit of heat from cayenne pepper. I prefer to use espresso in this recipe but strong coffee will work as well. Once you whip up the mocha mix, building the drink is super easy. It’s officially Fall now, and this Boozy Mexican Mocha is the perfect cocktail to make for the cooler nights we’re having.

Boozy Mexican Mocha

Boozy Mexican Mocha, serves 1

6 oz. strong coffee (or two shots of espresso)

2 oz. Kerrygold Irish Cream

2 tbsp. Mexican mocha mix*

splash of milk or cream (optional)

grated cinnamon, for garnish

*Mexican Mocha Mix

2 tbsp. powdered sugar

1 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 tsp. nutmeg

1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper

Boozy Mexican Mocha

First, make you Mexican Mocha Mix by combining all the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Stir until mixed. This will make about enough for 2 cocktails. I love making a larger batch of this and then just storing it in a jar. That way I have the mix ready for whenever I’m in the mood. You know, for those cold or rainy days.

Dare I even mention snow yet?

I don’t want to think about it.

Boozy Mexican Mocha

To make a cup of Boozy Mexican Mocha. Brew coffee or espresso and add 6 oz. to a mug. Add 2 tbsp. of Mexican Mocha Mix and stir until completely dissolved. Then mix in 2 oz. of Kerrygold Irish Cream. Stir and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top. If you’re looking for something less boozy or you want to add a little more creaminess, add a splash of heavy cream, half & half, or the milk of your choice.

Boozy Mexican Mocha

Boozy Mexican Mocha

Boozy Mexican Mocha

Kerrygold Irish Cream couldn’t be any more perfect for this Boozy Mexican Mocha recipe. I basically used it as a substitute for milk in this recipe and it adds just the right amount of booze without being overpowering. Not to mention the extra lovely chocolate flavors it adds. A great idea for the holiday season is gifting jars of homemade Mexican Mocha Mix with a cute instructional tag and a bottle of Kerrygold Irish Cream. Sipping on this Boozy Mexican Mocha makes my heart so happy and I know you will love it too! Happy National Coffee Day everyone! xo

Boozy S’mores Milkshake

August 2, 2018 by Natalie 1 Comment

Boozy S'mores Milkshake

It’s currently about 100% humidity here which means life is really hard and HOT! Where’s the blender at? I’ve turned your favorite campfire treat into a delicious Boozy S’mores Milkshake.

I went camping every weekend as a kid with my family growing up. So campfires and s’mores have a special place in my heart. Although now that I’m an adult, I can definitely say I am not a camping kind of girl. Give me the beach or the desert or give me death! I guess I like sand. The weather feels like I’m living inside of a campfire though, so why not take a warm and gooey treat and turn it into something cold, sweet, and refreshing? Not entirely sure why I have never thought of such a brilliant idea before, but the results are heavenly and decadent.

Boozy S'mores Milkshake

Boozy S’mores Milkshake, serves 1-2

1 1/2 cups chocolate ice cream

1/2 cup vanilla ice cream

1 graham cracker sheet plus crushed graham crackers for rimming

2 toasted marshmallows plus more for garnish

1/2 cup whole milk

1 1/2 oz. Kerrygold Irish Cream

2 tbsp. chocolate syrup plus more for garnish

whipped cream for garnish (optional)

Boozy S'mores Milkshake

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Rim your glass by dipping into honey and then into crushed graham crackers. Pour milkshake into the graham cracker rimmed glass and top with whipped cream, toasted marshmallows, and chocolate syrup. If the consistency of your milkshake is too thin, you can add more ice cream or a little ice to compensate.

Boozy S'mores Milkshake

Boozy S'mores Milkshake

Boozy S'mores Milkshake

Boozy S'mores Milkshake

I toasted my marshmallows with a kitchen torch but by all means, if you have a campfire, have at it! This Boozy S’more Milkshake is probably my new favorite dessert drink of the Summer. I have such a sweet tooth, or perhaps, every one of my teeth is a sweet tooth. I’ve totally cut back on sweets as I have gotten older but I make an exception every once in a while. The Kerrygold Irish Cream adds just the right amount of flavor and booziness but if you wanted to make this drink a little boozier — adding bourbon would be so delicious too! Soaking up the remainder of Summer even if it’s sticky and warm. Hopefully, this Boozy S’mores Milkshake will cool you down! xo

Happy weekend everyone! I’m sharing a recipe for Blended Watermelon Mojitos from A Beautiful Mess’s cookbook Weekday Weekend. If you haven’t picked up a copy of this book yet, I urge you to! As someone who has struggled with an on again off again vegetarian diet, this book has really helped me stay on track with healthy eating habits.

Blended Watermelon Mojitos + Weekday Weekend Giveaway

The whole idea behind this book and the Weekday Weekend concept is simple. For 5 days a week, you eat according to 5 rules.

  • eat a variety of foods
  • no refined or artificial sugars or sweeteners
  • no refined white flour or white rice
  • no dairy
  • no alcohol

Then on the weekend, there are no rules! At first, it was a little hard, especially the no alcohol part. But these rules, or diet if you want to call it that, is totally sustainable. You eat healthy all week and then there’s still time to indulge in all the sweets and cocktails your heart desires. In moderation of course! 😉

Frozen East Side Cocktail

July 11, 2018 by Natalie Leave a Comment

Cool off with the Frozen East Side Cocktail

I love reinventing classics to fit the season. While the East Side Cocktail is such a perfect and refreshing Summer cocktail as is —  I couldn’t help but wonder how much better it might be if I took all the ingredients and threw them in a blender. With the temperature being in the high 80s all week and not letting up for the foreseeable future, can you really blame me?

If you’re not familiar with the East Side Cocktail, it is basically a Southside Cocktail (gin, lime, sugar, mint) with added cucumbers. But they’re both really just gimlets, right? And a gimlet is just a daiquiri with gin instead of rum. I could go on and on but the point is they’re all delicious, simple, and easily quaffable. Now in all of its frosty glory, I introduce you to the Frozen East Side Cocktail. Your new favorite Summer drink.

Cool off with the Frozen East Side Cocktail

Frozen East Side Cocktail, serves 1

2 oz. Gin

1 oz. simple syrup

3/4 oz. lime juice

handful of mint

5 cucumber slices

6-8 oz. of ice

Cool off with the Frozen East Side Cocktail

Cool off with the Frozen East Side Cocktail

Add all your ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into your desired serving vessel, I used coupe glasses, but double rocks glasses will do too. Garnish with cucumber slices and a sprig of mint.

That was super easy, right?

And it tastes like heaven?

Then I think you made it correctly.

Cool off with the Frozen East Side Cocktail

When I develop frozen cocktails or reinvent classics as such, here is my rule of thumb; sugar content should always be greater. If I were shaking this drink and serving it up the sugar: citrus ratio would have been flipped (1 oz. lime, 3/4 oz. simple). With frozen drinks, sugar content should be higher to compensate for dilution which is always much greater in frozen drinks. Sometimes adding too little sugar means getting cocktails that turn out unbalanced and overly tart. Capeesh?

Cool off with the Frozen East Side Cocktail

Now let’s talk about the blending of the mint and cucumber into this drink. If you’ve ever had an East Side Cocktail in its regular form, muddled and served up like a gimlet, then you know how deliciously refreshing it is. Blending it knocks these refreshing flavors right out of the park though. It’s like an explosion of minty, herbal, refreshing goodness. Honestly, after I shot these I kinda got a little cold sipping them in my kitchen. Talk about cooling down! Did I mention that gorgeous green hue? It’s a stunner ladies and gentlemen! 😉

Cool off with the Frozen East Side Cocktail

Cool off with the Frozen East Side Cocktail

The other great thing about the Frozen East Side Cocktail, or the East Side in general, is that if you’re not feeling like gin… that’s okay! This cocktail served shaken or made frozen, is outstanding with so many other spirits. Personally, I love it with tequila but it would also work great with vodka, rum, or your favorite whiskey. So pick your spirit of choice and get out that blender! I know this Frozen East Side Cocktail will not disappoint.

Boozy Cold Brew Popsicles

July 6, 2018 by Natalie 3 Comments

Boozy Cold Brew Popsicles

I reach a point every Summer when it just gets too damn hot. That is when everything I eat or drink has to be frozen. Coffee is no exception! I teamed up with Chila ‘Orchata Cinnamon Cream Rum to bring you these delicious Boozy Cold Brew Popsicles. Staying cool, caffeinating, and getting a buzz are all pretty high up on my priority list. Boozy Cold Brew Popsicles are the perfect treat when an iced coffee just isn’t going to cut it!

Boozy Cold Brew Popsicles

Boozy Cold Brew Popsicles, makes 10 popsicles

2 cups cold brew

1/4 cup sweetened coconut condensed milk

1/4 cup Chila ‘Orchata Cinnamon Cream Rum

popsicle mold

popsicle sticks

Boozy Cold Brew Popsicles

First, add 1 cup of cold brew to a bowl with sweetened coconut condensed milk and Chila ‘Orchata. Stir well and taste. If you want this mixture sweeter you can add either more coconut condensed milk or rum cream. Pour the cold brew-milk mixture into the popsicle molds only filling each one halfway. Place in freezer for about an hour.

Boozy Cold Brew Popsicles

Next, insert popsicle sticks and top off each mold with the remaining cold brew. Freeze for 4-6 hours but I always recommend letting them freeze overnight.

Boozy Cold Brew Popsicles

Boozy Cold Brew Popsicles

The recipe for these Boozy Cold Brew Popsicles couldn’t be more simple. They are so easy to put together even with the layering. Chila ‘Orchata is smooth, creamy, with a little hint of spice. It is a unique blend of Puerto Rican rum, real dairy cream, Tahitian vanilla, and exotic cinnamon. All the flavors of Chila ‘Orchata are wonderful for use in coffee and made these Boozy Cold Brew Popsicles extra delicious.

Boozy Cold Brew Popsicles

Boozy Cold Brew Popsicles

I’m usually a black coffee/cold brew drinker but adding a creamy latte element to these popsicles made them sweet, flavorful and refreshing. My new favorite thing to use in recipes is coconut condensed milk and it added just the right amount of sweetness and complimented the additional vanilla and cinnamon notes from the Chila ‘Orchata.

Boozy Cold Brew Popsicles

These Boozy Cold Brew Popsicles would be an amazing addition to any Summer brunch party. For me, I’d enjoy one on any regular afternoon just to pretend I’m on vacation. Hopefully, the cold brew kicks in and makes me semi-productive though. Another great idea: use them as a giant ice cube in your coffee!  Stay cool everyone and if you’re giving these a try at home don’t forget to chime in on the comments below. xo

Bar Convent Brooklyn with ANGOSTURA BITTERS

June 22, 2018 by Natalie 35 Comments

BCB Brooklyn with Angostura Bitters

Last week I had the pleasure of spending the day with ANGOSTURA bitters at Bar Convent Brooklyn (BCB). The Bar Convent started as a small industry meeting in Berlin and quickly became one of the most important international bar & beverage trade shows. This year the show expanded to Brooklyn, NY and I was so happy I got to experience it alongside a brand that I truly love.

The House of Angostura, based in Trinidad and Tobago, has been blending bitters for more than 190 years. They also have been producing fine rums for 130 years, mastering the art of aging and blending. ANGOSTURA bitters are made with the same secret recipe that was developed in 1824 by Dr. Johann Sieger. They are an essential ingredient in so many classic cocktails, which is why they’re so crucial to the beverage industry. ANGOSTURA bitters are recognized as the world’s first and best-selling cocktail bitters.

BCB Brooklyn with Angostura Bitters

BCB Brooklyn with Angostura Bitters

At the door, I was greeted by the ANGOSTURA welcome cart and a delicious sample of the Trinidad Sour. This drink was created in 2009 by NYC bartender Guiseppe Gonzalez at the one and only Clover Club in Brooklyn, NY.

Alex Kirles, the House of Angostura US Brand Ambassador, was shaking this little concoction up. A mix of ANGOSTURA aromatic bitters, rye whiskey, orgeat, and lemon juice. This drink packs a punch because it contains over an ounce of the bitters! The Trinidad Sour is a great way to start or end a meal, or in my case, start the day!

BCB Brooklyn with Angostura BittersBCB Brooklyn with Angostura Bitters

BCB Brooklyn with Angostura Bitters

At the ANGOSTURA booth they were mixing up one of my favorite drinks of all time; the Queen’s Park Swizzle. This is a drink I’m quite familiar with as I used to crank these out behind the bar when I worked at PKNY. I also still make a ton of these at Dutch Kills. The best way to describe this drink is a fancy mojito, but in my opinion, way better. The Queen’s Park Swizzle got its name from the Trinidadian hotel where it was first concocted in the 1920s. It includes ANGOSTURA 7-year-old Rum, demerara syrup, lime juice, mint, and the essential ANGOSTURA aromatic bitters.

I really enjoyed my time getting to know Martin Tummino, who is the House of Angostura Cocktail Ambassador, and self-proclaimed “Swizzologist.” “The Queens Park Swizzle is not just the National Cocktail of Trinidad & Tobago, it represents a technique, a tool, — and a cocktail structure that belongs to the Caribbean and all of Latin America.”

The last cocktail of the day was the Amaroni. This cocktail included Amaro di Angostura, gin, sweet vermouth, and ANGOSTURA orange bitters. I loved this one because it’s a variation on one of my favorite classics, the Negroni. Amaro di Angostura launched in 2014, to celebrate the company’s 190-year anniversary. I love the use of ANGOSTURA orange bitters in this cocktail because it adds zesty tropical orange notes and spices.

BCB Brooklyn with Angostura BittersBCB Brooklyn with Angostura Bitters

I really enjoyed my time at Bar Convent Brooklyn and I can’t wait to go again next year. It was nice to see so many premium brands and explore the newest trends and products. Not to mention network, share knowledge, and learn! I think my favorite Angostura fact that I learned was hearing about the legend of the oversized label. Which I have to say, I’ve always wondered about! Apparently, Angostura bitters’ too-big label came into being when the Siegert brothers divided tasks. One brother was responsible for labeling, and the other was responsible for bottle sourcing. The two miscommunicated, resulting in a mistakenly oversized label that to this day remains the brand’s signature.

BCB Brooklyn with Angostura Bitters

It’s been so nice to share a behind-the-scenes look at my BCB experience with Angostura. What is your favorite cocktail with Angostura bitters? Would you think about going to Bar Convent Brooklyn next year? If you do, I will definitely be seeing you there because I would not miss this event for the world. Cheers everyone! If you haven’t tried Angostura bitters you can purchase at liquor retailers nationwide and learn more here.

Summer Solstice Sparkling Chamomile Sangria

June 21, 2018 by Natalie 2 Comments

Summer Solstice Sparkling Chamomile Sangria

The Summer solstice marks the official start of Summer. With it brings the longest day and shortest night of the year. You might need sangria for the longest day of the year, correct? In light of Summer solstice, I made Sparkling Chamomile Sangria with Santa Margherita Prosecco Superiore D.O.C.G. just for the occasion. After all, I do wait all year for the first day of Summer — every year. A delicious bubbly wine together with chamomile tea, elderflower liqueur, lemon, and strawberry seems like the perfect combination to ring in the first day of Summer.

Today also marks my 2nd blogiversary. I can not believe it! We’re going to need more prosecco!

Summer Solstice Sparkling Chamomile Sangria

Sparkling Chamomile Sangria, serves 4-6

1 bottle Santa Margherita Prosecco Superiore  D.O.C.G

2 cups chamomile tea

3/4 cup lemon juice

1/2 cup gin

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup elderflower liqueur

lemon wheels

strawberries

Summer Solstice Sparkling Chamomile Sangria

First, bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan. Add 2 chamomile tea bags and let steep 5 minutes. Remove bags and discard. While tea is still hot add your 1/2 cup of sugar and stir until fully dissolved.

Summer Solstice Sparkling Chamomile Sangria

Next, cut up the fruit and then add it to your pitcher or large serving vessel. Pour tea, lemon juice, gin, and elderflower liqueur into the vessel and let sit in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours. The longer you let the fruit steep the better!

Just before serving your Sparkling Chamomile Sangria, add ice and finally top with a bottle of Santa Margherita Prosecco Superiore D.O.C.G. In this recipe, I only used 1 bottle of prosecco, but if you want to make a boozier sangria I suggest using 2 bottles instead.

I love adding an iced tea element to cocktails in the Summer. Especially in sangria and punches! Tea adds a lot of fruity, floral, and herbal elements that can compliment wine and spirits nicely. In this case, the chamomile adds floral notes that are a perfect match to the aromatic, fresh, fruity, and sweet floral aspects ofSanta Margherita Prosecco Superiore D.O.C.G. Santa Margherita grows luscious, aromatic Glera grapes in the gentle hills of Valdobbiadene, a town synonymous with the finest Prosecco Superiore, and DOCG status – the highest and most distinctive classification possible.
